
Hemudu Cultural Relics Site, located at Hemudu Town, is the site of the relics of the New Stone Age over 7,000 years ago. It is a national-level historic preservation unit and a base for national patriotism education. Covering an area of 40,000 sq m, the Site consists of three parts: the museum, the excavating sites and the primitive ecological area.

Tianluo Hill Fossil Accumulation
Tianluo Hill, located in Xiang¡¯ao Village, is a little hill only 5 meter above the sea level. With its perfect conditions of the low altitude and high underground water level, the Tianluo Hill is perfect for the preservation of organisms. Here are unearthed numerous fossils of plants and animals of the Neolithic Age.
